Some words can't really be translated literally. Same with the commonly heard
"yoroshiku" sometimes taking on a similar meaning as
"tanomu"(to request).
Another thing i failed to mention is that with the list i provided, it's best to
look around for examples of usage for those that seem confusing. Especially with
"Kureguremo", albeit knowing the meaning of the whole sentence when
seeing it in one. i know i still can't explain this one myself.
Probably awkward being corrected by someone who studied the language for less
than half your time (9 months, ) However,this is a chance to clarify a fuzzy subject i'm sure many people
have problems with. If you're going to say "wo" the correct verb here
is "oeru". So you could then say "jikoshoukai wo oemasu"
In the dictionary, both "oeru" and "owaru" shows the same
meaning- to end. What we really need to pay heed to is the usage. Oeru means to
manually end something, while owaru
implies more the state of being finished. Another example would be
"yaburu"(to tear,break) and "yabureru"(to be torn)

(past tense).
To clear up any misconceptions, verbs in their uninflected dictionary form is
not the present tense, it's called the non-past form lol. The -Te form + iru/oru
is the correct way to write a verb in the present tense.
Being stuck on a sentence for a few days doesn't sound healthy.
If you wanted privacy, you can write it on the computer and password protect
your files.
You should work a bit more on grammar b4 taking such a big step.
A while back, i've tried writing my journal in japanese too. Constantly finding
myself thinking "eeto, what's that 20-30 letter 15 syllable word i'm trying

If you want to see how both particles "wa" and "ga" can coexist in a sentence, here's an easy enough example:
kanojo wa watashi ga mamoru
Which literally translates to, "Her, i'll protect"
no backup needed either puffy-chan. If you said it with confidence people will believe you even if you have no idea what you're talking about.

"wasurete shimatta" follows the tense of the second word, shimatta (past tense).
To clear up any misconceptions, verbs in their uninflected dictionary form is not the present tense, it's called the non-past form lol. The -Te form + iru/oru is the correct way to write a verb in the present tense.
Being stuck on a sentence for a few days doesn't sound healthy.
If you wanted privacy, you can write it on the computer and password protect your files.
You should work a bit more on grammar b4 taking such a big step.
A while back, i've tried writing my journal in japanese too. Constantly finding myself thinking "eeto, what's that 20-30 letter 15 syllable word i'm trying to remember that means such and such". Back to writing in english, I can keep a more detailed record that way.

Datte ba yo doesnt seem to have a special meaning. If u replace it with "Da/Desu" (is), it would mean the same thing. It's just Naruto's way of adding emphasis to his speech.
It's like how gurlz sometimes add a "Wa" to the end of their sentences.
I too have something I want to ask. Can't think of a better place to look for answers off the top of my head. recently i heard someone in anime say "Yappashi" instead of "Yappari". They were used in similar contexts. And also "Bakashi" in place of what should be "Bakari" (don't tell me it's "bakabakashii", I know what i heard =/) The words ending w/ Shi doesnt seem to pop up in the dictionary. To anyone who might've heard this *nudge nudge, u inactive admins*. can u explain the distinction? if there is one.
